At Lamorinda Tooth Buds, we recognize that as your child’s pediatric dentist, we are fortunate to be such an integral part of our wonderful community. We are grateful to have the opportunity to actively engage beyond our office walls and make an impact on children’s lives. Within our community, these are some of the wonderful organizations we collaborate with.
Community Engagement
Mindful Littles is a nonprofit based out of the Lamorinda Area that focuses on empowering youth through service activities in the community, incorporating mindfulness and self-compassion practices. Our team has collaborated with them on numerous outreach activities— from hygiene kit drives to backpack donations and food drives. We are continually working with our partners at Mindful Littles to extend their reach within our community and beyond.

Educational Outreach in Schools
One of our favorite things to do as a team is giving Oral Wellness Talks in local preschools. Through the years, we have visited many schools in the community, including Growing Tree Preschool, Lafayette Nursery School, and Diablo Valley Montessori School. We are always open to visiting more schools and providing our resources to little ones in the community. If you’d like us to visit your child’s school, please let us know!

All of our doctors are Board-Certified meaning they have done additional certification to achieve a higher level of recognition to ensure they can provide the highest quality of care for our patients.
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD)
California Society of Pediatric Dentistry (CSPD)
All of our doctors are members of both of these organizations, allowing them to stay connected to current advancements, technologies, and research in the industry.
Contra Costa Dental Society
Dr. Roy currently serves as President of the Contra Costa Dental Society, having served on the board for several years and held numerous executive positions. As a board member, Dr. Roy is involved with making decisions that impact legislation and help foster a sense of community among dental professionals through Contra Costa County and the state of California.
Lafayette Chamber of Commerce
Our office has been a member of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce since 2015, and more recently joined other local chambers including Walnut Creek and Moraga. Through involvement with these chambers, we participate in local community and charity events such as the Lafayette Art and Wine Festival, Reservoir Run, Moraga Easter Egg Hunt, among many others!

Global Outreach
Dr. Roy has had the unique opportunity to combine two of her greatest passions—traveling and giving back to the community— by participating in dental mission trips through the years. She has traveled to underserved parts of the world including Mexico, Cambodia, the Philippines, Jamaica, and Peru, donating countless hours of essential pediatric dental care. These diverse experiences have provided a unique perspective that has enriched her understanding and compassion, which she brings to her patients and team every day.
